Lloyd Park Studios are artists studios based in Lloyd Park/Aveling Park, Walthamstow in the grounds of the William Morris Gallery.
The studios are owned and managed by Waltham Forest Council and comprise of 6 studios, currently home to 7 tenants.
They are within the Aveling Centre which is also home to the Winns Gallery, the Community Room, and a cafe.
You will find them situated beside the children's play area, skatepark and bowling green.
Raewyn Harrison is a ceramic artist who creates work that has a strong narrative related to specific sites.
She uses the tradition of ceramics to commemorate locations and occasions but subverts the context through contemporary image or form.
Raewyn grew up in New Zealand yet has lived most of her adult life in London, two vastly distant locations that deeply influence her work.
Philip is a commercial, product and portraiture photographer.
The studio is fully equipped with lighting equipment and a selection of backdrops in different colours. It can be used for model portfolios, actor & business headshots and portraiture of all types.
Additionally significant investment has been made in specialist product photography equipment to produce a high quality product photography facility.
Linda Green is a painter, frequently working in mixed media. Her work leans towards abstraction and is often intended to evoke the essence and atmosphere of a place .
In her most recent works she is investigating some of the universal themes and layers of meaning in TS Eliot’s Four Quartets.
Linda is also ceramic artist in residence at Waltham Forest College and is a member of E17 Designers’ and a regular participant in the E17 Art Trail.
